         JULY 2005

I participated in the tour of “World Heritages in St. Peterburg &
Estonia for 8 days”
It arrived at the Helsinki airport on the midnight,
Wednesday, July 13 at 11 o'clock.
It was a long journey of more than
17 hours by Air France via Paris.

It was the flight of 3 hours or less
from Charles de Gaulle Airport in
Paris to the Helsinki Vantaa
International Airport. It was first
Northern Europe for me. We went
to south area of Helsinki by bus.
I could check in in 0:30 at Sokos
Hotel Presidentti.

We departed busily after in a bed for a few hours in the Hotel Presidentti.

Early morning we are going to the port
from the hotel to take ship by bus through Helsinki town.
I see scenery of fresh Helsinki from windows of bus.

We go over to Tallinn by high speed
boat at 8:00 a.m. on July 14, the next
day. The wake-up call is 5:50 AM
though it was before to enter the
bed last night at 2:00AM. This is a
severe point of the tour from the
first day.

Shipboard from Finland to capital
Tallinn in Estonia, one of three
Baltic countries. There is a room
of alcohol and the cigarette in SEA
SHOP and it is the same as the
duty free shop in the airport.

The high-speed ferry "sea cat" faces
the port of Tallinn of the opposite bank
in a Finnish gulf in 1 hour 40 minutes.
At a deck on the second floor seat.

 Yoshito Maki on a deck.

I went out to the deck alone and took pictures of sea of Finland. Then, a
couple of our tour just appears. I asked
them to take pictures each other. They
were Mr. and Mrs. Ishida participated from Sakura City in Chiba.
