In early summer, 1978, I flew away in first London. At last then Japan opened
an international　airport aiming at globalization in Narita. A quarter of century
already passed since that.I go to　London and New York which there was not of
going only by a business trip for sightseeing now.This "Yoshito Maki / European
and American journey" is my record of such a trip.

　　On September 11, 2001, the world dispute spreads since terrorisｍ in New York,
and the　uneasiness　of the trip increases. I do a trip to fly in the space to the
east to the west, but continue a　trip in time without myself breaking off even if,
in fact, I perform it to where. And I am limited　in the time for trip that I can　keep
company. I pray for a trip with much in the world without the　dispute　and crops.
